Ordered that the Clerk of the Courts in the several counties in this State forthwith report to this House, the full amount of all fees and emoluments by them received by virtue of their offices for the three years next preceeding the fourth day of January 1832. That the Clerk of this House immediately transmit to each of the said clerks a copy of this Order and that the aforesaid reports as soon as received be laid before this House.

The Committee on contested elections to whom was referred the credentials of John Chandler and John Pitts, each claiming a seat in this House from the Representative District of Dearborn and Belgrade made a report accompanied by a Resolve which was read and accepted as amended on sheet annexed marked B.

Met according to adjournment

Ordered that the Clerks of the Courts in the several counties in this State forthwith report to this House, the full amount of all fees and emoluments by them received by virtue of their offices for the three years next preceeding the fourth day of January 1832. That the Clerk of this House immediately transmit to each of the said clerks a copy of this Order and that the aforesaid reports as soon as received be laid before this House.

On motion of Mr Fessenden of Portland, the House reconsidered the vote whereby they accepted the foregoing Report and ordered the same to be laid on the table and two hundred copies thereof be printed.

The Committee on contested elections to whom was referred an Order of the 7th. instant instructing them to inquire whether any person now holding a seat in this House, also holds or held at the time of his qualification as a member of this House any office under the United States or office of profit under this State, other than those offices excepted by the constitution, made a report which was read and accepted.
