62 Mr. Dummer moved the following Order Ordered, that notice be sent from this House to the Electors of the Representative District of Wiscasset, that the seat of a member from that town is vacant, for the purpose of having this vacancy filled by a new election - On motion of Mr Clifford, the same was laid upon the table and wednesday next at ten o'clock assigned for its consideration.
On Motion of Mr Parsons Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquired into the expedience of making provision by law that the State in Criminal actions shall pay to defendants costs when they may be acquitted - sent up for concurrence.
