Cobb, Joseph Howard, and Hezekiah Prince, signifying their acceptance of the Office of Councillors and read from the Chair. [Report of the Committee appointed to devise the best mode of a valuation committee] The Report of the Joint Select Committee appointed to devise the best method of raising a valuation committee, was received from the House, as taken, into a new draft, which was adopted by the Senate and referred to Messrs. Drummond, Megquier and Pike, and afterwards Messrs. Kingsley, Davee, Eastman, and Steele were added to said committee.
