On Motion of Mr Dummer. Ordered that the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals be instructed to enquire into the proceedings of the Kennebec Boom Corporation, whether said Corporation is not at this time exercising important powers injurious to the public and not granted by the act of Incorporation, and whether the Legislature under the authority of the seventh section of said Acts, should not immediately restrain or annul the powers and privileges granted them by said etc - sent up for concurrence.
