We are amazed and delighted by the perception of the English illustrator, who has been able to capture the spirit of this lovely story so perfectly. · We are amused by the blurb which says that the "deep forest country of The Enchanted [The Enchanted underscored] lies beyond" Damariscotta Pond. It does, indeed, many many miles beyond. Another especially interesting touch is the dedication to the MacDougalls.
