Resolve fixing the compensation of the Commissioner of Public Buildings, was read once & ordered to lie on the table.

Bill - in addition to an act entitled an act concerning Registers of Deeds, was read 1st & 2d time & Thursday next at 11 o clock assigned for a 3d reading & 300 copies ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.

Report of the Committee on State Lands directed by order of 30th of Jany last to inquire into the expediency of providing by law that the Land Agent shall make report of all his proceedings to the Legislature &c that legislation on that subject is inexpedient, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate

Bill - to authorize towns in the County of Kennebec to associate together to build an Alms house for the support of their poor, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Petition of Asa Redington Junr & others praying for aid in building a Bridge across the Kennebec river above the Forks, was read & referred to the committee on State Lands. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to authorize the town of Falmouth to erect a Toll Bridge across the Presumpscot River, was called up, and assigned for a 3d reading at 10 o clock tomorrow.

Bill - incorporating the Waldo Agricultural Society, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
