110 On motion of Mr. Patten of Hampden Ordered, that the Committee on Literature be directed to enquire into the expediency of so amending the law respecting School Agents the in case of neglecting or refusing to set up Schools when required by the districts, that they may be liable to fine, also making it the duty of School Committee to set up schools in such cases - sent up for concurrence.

A Communication was received from the Clerk of the Courts in the County of Kennebec in compliance with an order of the 13th. instant which was read and referred to the Select Committee of this House who have that subject under consideration.
