Deering] Mr. Hinds, from the Committee on Claims reported reference to the next legislature on the petition of James Deering, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. [Resolve providing for payment of extra expenses of certain members of Valuation Committee] Resolve providing for payment of extra expenses of certain members of the Valuation Committee reported by the Joint Select Committee to whom the subject was referred, was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. [Petition referred] The petition of Asa Clapp and others, for the incorporation of a Bank at Portland, was read and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on Banks and Banking.
