A communication was received from the Clerk of the Courts in York County in compliance with an order of the 9th instant which was read and referred to the Select Committee of this House who have that subject under consideration.

Petition of Wm. Sawin and others for leave to pass Cousins river came from the Senate referred to the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges and Canals for concurrence and the House concurred.

The Report of the Committee on the Judiciary to whom was referred the Petition of Jacob O. Rogers for permission to flow State Lands asking to be discharged from the consideration of the subject and that the same be referred to the Committee on State Lands, came from the Senate accepted for and the subject referred to the Committee on State Lands for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Report of the Agents appointed to examine the Canada road. - of the Agent of the Road leading through the Notch of the White Hills came from the Senate referred to the Committee on State Roads for concurrence and the House concurred.

An Order came from the Senate for concurrence requiring the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire what alteration is necessary if any - in an act entitled An Additional Act directing the method of laying and making provision for the repair and amendment of Highways and providing for the appointment of County Commissioners, passed March 10th 1831 - and the House concurred.
