Thursday, February, 14, 1833.

The Conferees appointed on the part of the Senate on the Resolve in favor of Elisha Hilton, were discharged, and Messrs. Keith Drummond and Boutelle appointed.

On motion of Mr Boutelle, Ordered, that the Senate, from and after Monday next, will have two Sessions a day, Saturday excepted; commencing at nine o'clock in the forenoon, and at half past two o'clock in the afternoon.

The petition of Ebenezer Higgins and others for an Agricultural Society in the County of Penobscot. Read and referred to the joint standing committee on Agriculture. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill to prevent the destruction of Pickerd [?] and a Bill for the preservation of Bridges: came from the "House severally amended for concurrence. The Senate recede from their former votes passing said Bills to be engrossed, adopt the amendments, proposed by the House, and pass said Bills, to be engrossed in concurrence.

Resolve for the benefit of the town of Burnham; came from the "House indefinitely postponed. The Senate refuse concurrence and insist on their former vote passing said Resolve to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
