The Secretary of State laid on the table a written message from the Governor.

Bill to set off a part of the town of Hallowell and to annex the same to the town of Gardiner, was taken from the table and on motion, the question being on referring the same to the next Legislature, and that question being ordered to be taken by Yeas and Nays, after some discussion was decided in the affirmative, as follows; Yeas, Messrs.
