[Bill respecting Sheriffs.] An additional Act respecting Sheriffs, came up from the House indefinitely postponed for concurrence. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, and concur the House in the indefinite postponement thereof.

[Bill respecting Highways.] "An Act additional to an Act directing the method of laying out Highways and providing for the appointment of Commissioners" and

[Bill respecting the attachment of property on mesne process.] "An additional Act respecting the attachment of property on mesne process, and directing the issuing, extending and serving executions" severally came from the House indefinitely postponed for concurrence, and the Senate concurred.

[Report concerning Masts, spars, and other timber.] The select committee to whom was refered "An additional Act to secure to owners their property in Logs, Masts, Spars and other timber" reported the same with amendments, which were adopted, and the same was passed to be engrossed, as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

[Bill enacted in favor of Maine Wesleyan Seminary.] The Committee on engrossed Bills, reported as truly copied from the original, a "Resolve in favour of the Maine Wesleyan Seminary" and the question on the final passage of said Resolve being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit:

[Yeas.] Yeas. Messrs. Davee, Drummond, Dunlap, Eastman, Fuller, Goodwin, Hall, Hutchings, Hinds, Ingalls, Kingsbery, Megquier and Sweat. 13

[Nays.] Nays. Messrs. Gardner, Harding, Hutchinson, Pike and Steele. 5 Mr. Dole was excused from voting on the question.
