A message was received from the House of Representatives, concurring in the proposition for a Convention of both branches this day at twelve o'clock.
In Convention. Agreeably to assignment the two Houses of the Legislature met in Convention for the purpose of qalifying [qualifying] Councillors elect; when Amos H. Hodgman Councillor elect, came in and before the President of the Convention and in presence of both Branches of the Legislature took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him to enter upon the discharge of his official duties, and the Convention seperated [separated].
In Senate. Mr Cobb was charged with a message to the Governor and Council informing them that Amos H. Hodgman has been duly qualified to act as Councillor.
