Petition of Emery Brown for change of name was read and referred to the committee on change of names

Bill to incorporate the Bowmans Point Horse Ferry Company came from the Senate for concurrence they having nonconcurred the House in the indefinite postponement of the Bill and insist on their vote passing the Bill to be engrossed - The House insist on their postponing the same indefinitely, propose a conference & appoint as conferees on their part Messrs Clapp of Portland, Abbot of Vassalborough and Morrill of Belgrade - sent up for concurrence

Bill to incorporate the Magarawock and Schoodic Canal Company came from the Senate by Message for concurrence they having reconsidered their votes passing the Bill to be enacted and to be engrossed, amend the same as on sheet annexed marked D and pass the same to be re-engrossed as thus amended - The reconsider their votes whereby they passed the Bill to be enacted and to be engrossed - adopt the amendment of the Senate & pass the same to be engrossed as thus amended in concurrence with the Senate and the Clerk by message acquainted the Senate & returned the Bill

The House reconsider their vote of yesterday whereby they indefinitely postponed the Bill to set off
