Memorial of the Inhabitants of the town of Lewiston, praying that the State tax levied on said town by the Legislature of 1831 may be rescinded, was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary in concurrence.

Agreeably to assignment the two Houses of the Legislature met in convention for the purpose of qualifying Counsellors elect.
