The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve establishing a Board of Internal Improvements, " in favor of Nathaniel Stevens, " respecting the State Prison, " for the aid of the Deaf and Dumb, and the same were severally, finally passed.

The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed. Bill to prevent the destruction of Pickerel in Thomas, Norton's and Camden Pond and Fletcher's Pond in the County of Waldo, Bill to incorporate the Bangor Horticultural Society, " to incorporate the Oxford Bridge Corporation, " to change the name of the town of North Salem, " to incorporate the town of Greenbush, " additional increasing the salary of the Judge of Probate in the County of Penobscot, and fixing the times and places of holding the Courts in said County, and the same were severally passed to be enacted.

Bill to incorporate the Grand Falls Sluiceway Company came up from the House recommitted. The Senate reconsider their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed & recommit the same in concurrence.
