Mr. Bradbury from the committee on State Roads to which was referred an order instructing them to inquire into the expediency of making an appropriation for the repair of the Canada Road, reported that about eighteen miles of said road from the forks of the Kennebec River to the north line of the Bingham Kennebec Purchase is now in a very bad condition and almost impassable for carriages and that an appropriation for the repair of said road north of said Bingham Purchase is unnecessary and inexpedient. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.
