Bill to organize, govern and discipline the Militia f this State, was taken up, and sundry amendments adopted; Mr. Knowlton moved to further amend by striking out the words " Ten cents a mile for travel" in the 41st Section, 5th and 6th lines, and insert in lieu thereof "Eight cents a mile for travel"; and the question of adopting said amendments, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the negative as follows, to wit;
