Resolve for the payment of accounts against the State; and the same were severally finally passed

Resolve providing for ascertaining the quality of the soil, the growth of timber, and geology of certain parts of the public lands; came from the House finally passed. The Senate refuse passage, and indefinitely postpone the same. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolves in favor of the Commissioner of Public Buildings, and to appoint a Superintendant [Superintendent] of Public Buildings. Read a second time, and amended as on sheets annexed marked A and B. and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill to apportion and assess on the inhabitants of this State a Tax of Fifty Thousand four hundred ten dollars, and eighty eight cents. Read twice, and passed to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.

Bill to regulate the survey of lumber in the County of Penobscot. Read twice and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Resolve in favor of John Cottle. Read twice and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill authorizing the sale of trees and timber standing upon the lands of Minors. Read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
