Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr Freeman of Cherryfield Ordered, That the Senate be requested to take from their files the petition of Samuel Moore & als presented at the last Legislature and the petition of George Chilicot & als presented at the present Legislature and send the same to this House read & passed. Sent up.

Resolve in favor of the Maine Wesleyan Seminary, was read once & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2nd reading.

Resolve in favor of the Canada Road reported by the committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the Canada Road, was read once & Monday next at 12 oclock assigned for a 2nd Reading the House reconsidered their vote assigning Monday next & assigned tomorrow at 10 oclock to give the Resolve a second reading.

Resolve on the petition of Samuel Winter, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence

Bill requiring persons enlisting into independent companies to give notice thereof to the commanding officer of the standing companies, reported by a select committee of this House, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Report on the petition of James Gilmore, referring the same to the next Legislature, was accepted as amended in concurrence with the Senate.
