The List of unfinished business referred to this Legislature, laid upon the table by the Secretary was read and ordered to lie on the table.
The President announced to the Board the appointment of the following Standing Committees of the Senate, to wit. On Bills in the Second reading Messrs. Farnham, Howard, Knowlton, Kelsey, Groton, Frye, Bridgham, Farnsworth, Pease, Prescott, Allen, Brown.
On Engrossed Bills. Messrs. Cobb, Bradbury, Smith, Porter, Rogers, Pierce, Manning, Labaree, Cogswell, Tobin, Emmons. __
And the following Joint Standing Committees, having been appointed on the part of the Senate, and sent down to the House for concurrence, came up joined as follows, to wit;
