Bill to incorporate the Bucksport and Calais Stage Company, Bill to annex a part of the town of York to South Berwick, severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
The Report of the Committee on the Judiciary, to which was referred an order "directing them to enquire into the expediency of repealing an act passed June 28, 1820, imposing an excise duty on certain officers therein named, and especially on Justices of the Peace", was taken up and committed to Joint Special Committee consisting of Messrs. Bradbury, Kelsey and Tobin, with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred and Messrs
