Bill additional relative to the inspection of Fish reported by Mr. Chandler from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred an order relative to the inspection of Fish, Bill to incorporate the Wiscasset Whale Fishing Company, reported by Mr. Smith from the Committee on Manufactures, on petition of Jotham Parsons & others, Bill to incorporate the Cumberland Steam Navigation Company, reported in the House by the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and Canals, on petition of J. C. Churchill and others, Bill giving a lien to Ship Carpenters and others on Vessels, reported in the House by the Committee on the Judiciary, to which was referred an order relative to that subject, severally read once, and tomorrow at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill to annex part of the town of Hallowell, to the town of Gardiner, came up. The House insisting on their former vote, whereby they passed said Bill to be engrossed as amended, and proposing a Conference, and appointing Messrs. Vose of Augusta, Jarvis of Ellsworth, and Pierce of Portland, Conferees on the part of the House. The Senate insist on their former vote, and concur the House in their proposition for a Conference, and appoint as Conferees on their part Messrs. Pierce, Knowlton and Emmons.

On motion of Mr. Emmons, ordered that three hundred copies of the Bill entitled "An Act in addition to an act regulating Judicial process & proceedings" together with the Governor's objections to the same, be printed.
