Petition of Rufus K. Goodenow to be admitted to practice law in the Court of Common Pleas was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Aaron Hill and others for an Act authorizing the town of Milo to purchase land for a Burying Ground, read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Bangor Horticultural Society came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.

Mr Pierce from the Joint Select Committee to which were committed sundry petitions for new County reported notice to next Legislature on petition of Peter H. Greene & others, read & accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolve establishing a Board of Internal Improvements came up from the House amended and referred to the next Legislature and that said Resolve be printed in all the papers that publish the laws of the State. The Senate so far recede from their vote passing said Resolve to be engrossed as to adopt the amendments proposed by the House. And the question of referring said Resolve to the next Legislature in concurrence, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the negative as follows, to wit: Yeas.
