Bill to incorporate the Moosahead Lake Steam Navigation Company, reported by Mr Smith from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred the petition of Pierson Cogswell and others Resolve providing for the purchase and distribution of the Northern Shepherd, reported by Mr McIntire from the Committee on Agriculture, on petition of Kennebec County Agriculture Society, severally read once and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading

Resolve authorizing the appointment of Auditors to investigate the unsettled accounts of Lottery Managers, was read the second time and the question of passing the same to be engrossed, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit: Yeas Messrs, Allen, Brown, Burnham, Clark, Fish, F Greene, C Greene, Latham, Mantor, McIntire. Pierce, Purinton, Randall, and Smith - 14 Nays, Messrs, Barnard, Chandler, Emmons, Farnham, Miller, McLelllan Prescott, Read and Tobin 9
