Mr Talbot has leave of absence from and after Wednesday next during the remainder of the session.

Bill further regulating Banks and Banking (in new draft) was read once and three o'clock in the afternoon assigned for a second reading.

The Senate, on motion of Mr. Miller, reconsider their vote refusing a passage to the "Bill to incorporate the Lime Burners Bank" - and the question of passing the same to be engrossed was decided in the negative (passage refused) as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Fish, Jarvis, Mantor, McIntire, Marrow, Severance, Spear, and Talbot 8 Nays. Messrs. Allen, Clark, Greene, Jewett, Kelsey, Latham, Miller, Pierce, Purrington and Strickland 10 Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Moosehead Dam Company came up from the House committed to the Committee on the Judiciary -- read and committed in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Kirkland Canal & Rail Road Company came up from the House amended. The Senate reconsider, adopt the amendments proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.
