while this afternoon to pen a few lines in answer to your kind letter of the 18th which came safe to hand to day and was glad to hear from you all I am still very slim and I fear I am going to loose the use of my feet and leggs they are groing numb and useless the Doctrs wiill not try to do anything for them if they can I am all discouraged about them but I think if I could get home for a while and get Dr Kilbourn to do something for them if he cannot help them nobody can but I cannot get home without some one to help me I wish you would see Dr Kilbourn or Mr Littlefield and see if they cannot do something for me in their way of
