June, Saturday, 27. 1863. We arrived at Jersey city this morning at 9 oclock. took the Steamboat there and came to New haven. arrived at New Haven at 4 oclock P.M. and was carried to the Hospital. Had my wound dressed. got somthing to eat +c

Sunday, 28. I felt pretty well this morning after I got my wound dressed and I had a pretty good nights sleep last night for I was pretty well tired out. It is a very good Hospital here and everything is comfortable as can be.

Monday, 29. In Hospital at New Haven, Ct.

June, Tuesday, 30. 1863. All of the Soldiers in this Hospital was mustered for pay this forenoon at 10 oclock. The funeral of Admiral Foote took place this afternoon in New Haven.
