106 October 21st
To day has been a very cold and windy day. I have been sick this afternoon. I bought a pie and eat it and it made me sick. I am on Stable guard to night.
October 22nd nothing of eny interest has taken place to day. The whole army appears to be very quiet at Presant. it is very cool weather now a fellow needs his great coat and mittens this weather.

Nothing new to day. we are still at Sharpsburg with General Porter but expect to be relieved in a few days and go to Fredwick where the rest of our Regement is stationed. it is very cool and windy to day.
