�Muster Rolls for the 1. Brigade arrived, the Major General directs that each of the Companies in the 1. Brigade of the Division be called together on Tuesday the 26 day of August next, in order to make the examination of arms, and perfect the muster rolls conformable to the Blanks furnished herewith, as by the Militia law aforesaid is directed to be done on the first Tuesday of May. And the Commanding Officers of Regiments and Companies will see this order carried into punctual execution.

During the present state of the Division, the Major General directs that all Returns of Regiments in the 1. Brigade be made directly to the Deputy Adjutant General who will, under present circumstances receive them without being digested into a Brigade Return. And he calls upon the Commanding Officers of the Regiments to see that the annual Return required by Law, is collected, made out and sent in, without delay.
