S. Congress lost his life a Martyr to the Liberty of Speech. And now what shall be said of his Murderers, of the one who challenged & shot him, the lips of Men will pronounce him a duelist & a Murder, he will be Judged by his God for the iniquity of his Crime, the aiders & abettors in the affair if they escape the punishment demanded by their fellow Men they will be a Reproach [illegible word] word upon earth & receive their just due in the world to come
