Ordered, That the Special Committee of this House to whom was referred an order directing them to enquire into the expediency of altering or abolishing the salary or compensation of Reports of Decisions of the Supreme Judicial Court Co empowered to send for persons & papers with authority to administer oaths and examine them as witness.

Ordered, That the Committee on accounts be instructed to allow such Bridge Inspectors & adjutants of Regiments the amount of pa provided by law, notwithstanding they may not have made their return within the time therein specified - provided  such returns were made in season for the adjutant general to make his return. Sent up for concurrence.

Has the Legislature of this State the right to prohibit the Banks in this State incorporated, entitled to the privileges, and subject to the liabilities, of the law regulating Banks and Banking passed March 31 1831 from issuing Bank Notes of a less denomination than five dollars - and on motion
