Yours of the 1st inst is rec'd I am not aware of any vacancy of Lieuts either in companies B or C. When I left the Lieuts of Company B were 1st Lieut Brown, 2nd Lieut Collins -- Company C 1st Lieut Skinner, 2nd Hall If there have within the last two months been any changes I have not as yet been so informed. [?] when I left was Sergt in Company B and an excellend officer.
