Hellen I rec'd your kind letter to day and was glad to hear that you wer all Well my health is good at present and I hope that theas few lines wil find you the same you said that the army was on the move but it hant so but genl Killparick has gon to Richmond to let the prisnors free and I hope that thay will the Bugle is blowing for dress praide but dont have to go on for I have Just bin relived frome gard Helen hant Bine Smith in the [?] 9th Me [ Probably Byron R.
