In order to prevent dispute respecting the position of the
several companies in regiment, it is requested that each Captain will bring his Commission with him to the regiment parade.
The Commanding Officer of each Regiment will see this
Order communicated to the commanding Officers of Compa- nies, who will be answerable that every effective Soldier be present, & that the equipments be as perfect as the nature of the case ill possibly admit. And it is earnestly recom- mended, that each noncommissioned officer & soldier provide himself with twelve blank cartridges, suitable to the bore of his gun, to be used in plattoon firing on the day of review.
