The Major-Generals will direct in what manner the Regiments and Corps within their respective Divisions, are to be assembled for Review, Inspection & Discipline; and as in some instances, the too great delay in issuing orders for those purposes, may have heretofore operated to lessen the appearance of respectability in the Militia, when in the field; it is presumed the Major-Generals will see the utility of giving out their Orders for the annual Musters, at an early period.
The Law authorizing the Major-Generals & Brigadiers to agree upon and fix the uniform for the several Corps under their command, it is necessary that these should be immediately determined, and report thereof made to the Adjutant-General, that the Standards ordered by the Legis- lature to be provided by the Quartermaster-General, may be
