On motion of Gen. Irish of Gorham, Ordered, that the committee who have under consideration the subject of enquiring [inquiring] into the expediency of altering or amending so much of an act passed in June last as requires that Justices of the Peace shall on or before the first day of February next pay Give dollars or there afterwards be disqualfiied to act under to act under their present commission, be instructed also to consider the expediency of passing some special act relative to certain Justices of the Peace living near St. Johns river with leave to report by bill or otherwise.
