Message from the Senate by Mr Sewall their Secretary
[Convention for choice of Secretary & Treasurer of State proposed]
Mr Speaker, The Senate propose that the convention to be formed at nine o clock this day for the choice of Counsellors, continue in Session for the purpose of choosing a Secretary and Treasurer of State - and then he withdrew.
[partially agreed to] The House concurred with the Senate in their proposition so far as it relates to the choice of Secretary of State and noncurd. so far as regards the election of Treasurer of State - and the Clerk was ordered to acquaint the Senate therewith.
[Committee to make arrangements for public prayer - report &c] The report of the joint committee to make arrangements for the Executive and Legislative authorities of the State to attend public prayer, accepted in the Senate, came for concurrence - and was in the House read and concurred.
