Bill in addition to an act ascertaining what shall constitute the legal settlement, & providing for the relief and support, employment & removal of the poor - was read 1st & 2d time & Tuesday next assigned for the 3d reading - & 200 copies ordered to be printed.

Bill, to incorporate the South Berwick Bank, was reported with amendments which were adopted, read a 2nd time & tuesday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

On motion of Mr Wallingford. Ordered that Messrs Wallingford, Clark and Hammond be a committee to consider the expediency of ascertaining the sense of the people of the County of York on the question of the location of the Courts in that County, with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise.
