[Resolve - Thomas Clark] The Resolve on the petition of Thomas Clark which passed this House the 17th inst came from the Senate amended as taken into a new draft for the concurrence of the House — and the House concurred.

[Bill - cede jurisdiction of Dennets Island.] Bill to cede to the United States the jurisdiction of Dennets Island so called in Piscataquis river was read a 1st & 2nd time & 10 oclock tomorrow assigned for a 3d reading.

[Bill - excise on Attornies.] Bill establishing the duties to be paid by attornies was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as amended at A, B & C — Sent up for concurrence.

[Leave of absence] Mr Burr of Litchfield had leave of absence until Saturday next.

[Bills - enacted] The committee on engrossed bills report as duly engrossed Bill "to incorporate the Master, Wardens & Members of Casco Lodge" " — to incorporate the Kennebunk Insurance Company" " — to alter the time of Holding the Court of Sessions in Somerset County which were severally passed to be enacted - Sent up for concurrence.

[Resolves - enacted -] The same committee reported as duly engrossed — Resolve — "confirming the doings of the town of Phillips setting forth several irregularities and omissions in the records of said town — " — "on petition of John Chaney: — " —" to refund to Timothy Osgood ten dollars" which were severally finally passed.
