[166] Tuesday morning Feb. 5, 1822. [Feb. 5. 1822] [Remonstrance] The Remonstrance of Nathaniel Milliken and others against the petition of Daniel Barrett proprietor of Camden Turnpike committed in the House to the Committee on turnpikes, bridges and canals, came up for concurrence. Read and concurred.
[Bills] Bill to establish the Salaries of the Justices of the Court of Common Pleas was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Bill to incorporate the South Berwick Bank came up from the House non-concurred in the vote of the Senate referring the same to the next Legislature. The Senate reconsider that vote and the Bill is passed to be engrossed with an amendment by striking out the words underscored at A - Section 3rd - Article 9. Sent down for concurrence.
[Bills] Bill to authorize the sale of Ministerial and School lands in the town of Lubec, belonging to Eastport - " to incorporate the Brunswick Academy - and " to incorporate the Proprietors of the Great Marsh on Pleasant river - were severally read and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading - and committed - the first to the Committee on Bills in the second reading - the second to Messrs. Holland and Pierce - and the third to Messrs. O'Brien and Dennett.
The Bill to regulate the right of right of roads - the further consideration whereof was by the Senate referred to the next legislature came up from the House non concurred - And the Senate reconsider their vote referring the same - and the Bill is committed to Messrs. Wheeler and Bradbury -
[Resolve] Resolve on the petition of Nancy Bucknam administrator was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House.
