Head Quarters Porters Division Fort Corcoran
Special order No 18.
For purposes of discipline and regularity, Col. C. W. Roberts[name underlined] 2nd Maine Regiment isssigned to the Command of the [underlined] post of Fort Corcoran.
The post will comprise all within the limits of breastworks west of Fort Corcoran, als Forts Decalb, Woodbury and Cap Redoubts, 1. 2 & 3.
The garrisons of those forts and Forts Bennett, Haggarty and Corcoran and the Ferry guard will look to Colonel Roberts for instruction and be governed by his orders. All recquisitions, expenditures etc will be controlled by the Division and Brigade commanders.
