Ordered that this House stand adjourned until three o’clock this afternoon.

Ordered, that Messrs Cobb of Durham, Warren of Jackson Bailey of Whitfield [Whitefield], Stone of Jay, Scammon of Pittston be a committee to wait upon the several ordained ministers of the Gospel in Portland and respectfully request them to attend upon the House of Representatives as Chaplains during the present Legislature, in rotation according to Seniority. – read and passed.
