At 12 o'clock the two Houses met in convention agreeably to assignment to qualify such Counsellors as have signified their  acceptance, when Isaac Lane, James McLellan, Joshua Gage and William Chadwick Esquires, came in and severally took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify them to enter upon the duties of their office.
