Mr. Southwick from the Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied viz, Resolve on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives and the same were finally passed

Mr. Dunlap from the conferees on the part of the Senate, on the disagreement between the two Houses respecting the "Resolve additional to the Resolve apportioning the Representatives on the several Counties, Towns, Plantations and Classes on the first apportionment," reported that they had met the Conferees on the part of the house and after a free conference, the Conferees on the part of the House had agreed to recommend to that branch to recede from their vote passing the Resolve to be engrossed in a third new draft and the Committee recommend to the Senate an adherence to their vote passing the Resolve to be engrossed as taken into a second new draft. Read and accepted and the Senate voted to adhere accordingly. Sent down for concurrence Came up concurred.

Mr. Churchill rose in his place and, after congratulating the Senate on the good ruling and affectionate respect which had prevailed among the members during their present session, read the following Resolve

"Resolved the thanks of the Senate be presented to the Honorable Jonas Wheeler their Resident, for the dignified and impartial manner in which he has presided over their deliberations and, that we avail ourselves of this occasion to express to him our best wishes for his prosperity and happiness.
