The committee of this House to whom was referred the petition of B. S.[?] Dean & als reported the following bill & the report was accepted.

Bill – to incorporate the Thomaston Mechanic Association, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a third reading.

Report on the petition of Henry W Fuller & als granting leave for a Bill, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence – and the House concurred.

Bill – additional to the act authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal Corporation, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill – additional to an act regulating judicial process and proceedings, reported with sundry amendments which were adopted was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

The House reconsidered their vote of yesterday whereby they indefinitely postponed the Bill – additional to the several acts now in force to organized, govern & discipline the Militia, and referred the Bill to Messrs Webber of New Gloucester, Emery of Hampden and Fogg of Elliot.
