The High School, here, commenced last Monday, with 32 pupils. There are now 36. The question was raised, - whether there should be one, or two, teachers. It being finally submitted to the scholars, they unanimously decided to have but one, + it appearing evident that Brown was preferred, Foster withdrew. The prospect is favorable for a good school. Brown quit the P. Office + gives his undivided attention to his business as instructor.
