eat I cannot think so many would write home the same story if ti was not so I have many friends gone out there and feel much interested for them and had I been goong as I once was I would gone out with them and renderd all the assistance I could to the sick and wounded but my nerves system is to weak now my Husband wuld of written before this but he has but one arm and that is his left he lost his arm at Hampden when vice President Hamblin was nominated it was A great misfortune I am a poor woman but I do feel anxious for our country and its safty my prayers is god will save our country from rebel hands Governor Washburn if you do not feel this beneath your notice please answer it would be gratifying to
