The Senate reconsider their vote by which they passed to be engrossed the

Bill to prevent frauds in the business of Banks and of Public Offices and trusts,” adopt sundry amendments in the same, and now pass the Bill to be engrossed as amended: sent down for concurrence.

Petition of Isaiah Willis for leave to sell part of the estate of John Willis,” and

Remonstrance of Jonathan Cumming & al. against the same,” committed in the House to the committee on new Trials, came up for concurrence: Read and concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Canal Bank,” came up with amendments: The Senate reconsider their vote by which they passed the Bill to be engrossed, concur with the House in their amendments, and assign wednesday next at 10 o clock for the further consideration of the same: Ordered that 200 copies of such parts of the Bill as differ from the Bill incorporating the Union Bank, be printed for the use of the Legislature, under the direction of Messrs. Churchill, Green and Parlin, a committee appointed for that purpose.

Bill respecting the Inspection of Beef,” passed to be engrossed in the House, came up for concurrence, was read once and committed to Messrs Parsons of L Southwick and Ripley, and monday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading of the same.
