Dear Sir
Please find enclosed request of Adjutant Gen. to have my regiment filled up to the maximum. I think the men can be raised very readily in Bangor & vicinity. The Department desires that the men be uniformed by the State and that they be placed under drill officers as soon as enlisted. I shall need about three hundred fifty good men with as many musicians as possible.
